Guggenheim Fellowship
Mathew Rosenblum has been named a 2013 Guggenheim Fellow. During the fellowship year, he will compose a new concerto for clarinetist David Krakauer and the Boston Modern Orchestra Project.

New Compact Disc on New World Records
Circadian Rhythms, a compact disc featuring new and older works performed by the Rascher Saxophone Quartet, Dave Eggar, Lindsey Goodman, Newband, Wendy Richman and others, will be released on New World Records in 2013.
Barlow Endowment Commission
Falling, a new work based on the James Dickey poem of the same name, has been commissioned by the Barlow Endowment for the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble. The work will be premiered in 2013.
Senior Composer at June in Buffalo
Mathew Rosenblum will be one of five Senior Faculty Composers at the 2009 June in Buffalo Festival and Conference. In addition to offering master classes and lectures about his music, Rosenblum will have three works (Maggies, Circadian Rhythms, and Under the Rainbow) performed by the New York New Music Ensemble, the Verge Ensemble, and Lindsey Goodman.
