“Kki Wearing Tasha” for flute, clarinet, violin and cello received its European premiere by No Exit new music ensemble during their four city European tour June 11-21, 2025

“Upon Vermilion Wheels” written for Conor Hanick and the JACK Quartet was premiered at the Beyond Microtonal Music Festival on February 22, 2025 at Bellefield Hall, Pittsburgh

Mathew Rosenblum was a Visiting Guest Composer at BOAC’s LOUD Weekend Festival, August 1-3, 2024. Two works were performed, “We Lived Happily During the War” and “Circadian Rhythms.”

A double-keyboard piano quintet commissioned by JACK Quartet and Conor Hanick will be premiered in the spring of 2025.

Mathew Rosenblum was a featured Senior Composer at the 2023 June in Buffalo festival (June 6-11, 2023) where several of his works were performed.

Rosenblum is one of 15 Pittsburgh Artists to receive the 2023 Investing in Creative Development Awards to support an audio recording of a new  work, “We Lived Happily During the War.” Influenced by Ilya Kaminsky’s poem of the same name, the work will be released with an accompanying interpretive video.

“We Lived Happily During the War,” commissioned by the Fromm Foundation, was premiered on September 30, 2022 by Jamie Jordan and the Talujon Percussion, The DiMenna Center, NYC

The Beyond 2020: Microtonal Music Festival, Directed by Mathew Rosenblum,  took place February 28th – March 1st in Pittsburgh.

The Fromm Foundation has commissioned Mathew Rosenblum to write a new work for Talujon Percussion and soprano Jamie Jordan.
