Mathew Rosenblum was in-residence at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music June 18, 2019 – June 21, 2019. The residency included a Lecture, masterclasses, and the performance of Gymnopédies Nos. 3-7 by the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble.

Sharpshooter chosen as a “Friday Faves” Staff Pick by Second Inversion

Mathew Rosenblum was a featured Composer at the ASEAN Music Week in Nanning, China, June 6-13, 2016. Performances included Throat and Sharpshooter

Rosenblum has been commissioned to write a New Work for Music From China for the 25th Anniversary Concert of their Premiere Works series.

The Boston Microtonal Society has commissioned Mathew Rosenblum to write a new work that will be a tribute to composer Ezra Sims.

Mathew Rosenblum will be a Featured Composer at the Thailand International Composition Festival in 2015. The festival will include performances of two works, Double Concerto and Two Harmonies. Rosenblum will also offer master classes and present a lecture on his music.

Mathew Rosenblum is one of five Pittsburgh composers chosen to be the PSO’s 2014 “Composer of the Year”.
