A double-keyboard piano quintet commissioned by JACK Quartet and Conor Hanick will be premiered in the spring of 2025.
2023 Heinz Endowments Award
Rosenblum is one of 15 Pittsburgh Artists to receive the 2023 Investing in Creative Development Awards to support an audio recording of a new work, “We Lived Happily During the War.” Influenced by Ilya Kaminsky’s poem of the same name, the work will be released with an accompanying interpretive video.

New Work Commissioned by the Fromm Foundation at Harvard
The Fromm Foundation has commissioned Mathew Rosenblum to write a new work for Talujon Percussion and soprano Jamie Jordan.
Shanghai Conservatory of Music Residency
Mathew Rosenblum was in-residence at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music June 18, 2019 – June 21, 2019. The residency included a Lecture, masterclasses, and the performance of Gymnopédies Nos. 3-7 by the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble.
