Biography

Mathew Rosenblum is a composer, curator and educator. Through the juxtaposition of different tuning systems and stylistic references, Rosenblum’s work does not live within traditional boundaries, creating a compellingly fresh landscape. He is the founder of the Beyond: Microtonal Music Festival, co-director of the Music on the Edge new music series, and Professor Emeritus and former Chair of the Department of Music at the University of Pittsburgh…
